As new pet parents, it's natural to have concerns about your puppy's socialisation and training needs. Puppy Pre-School offers a structured approach to address these worries, ensuring your puppy develops crucial skills and behaviours.
Puppy Pre-School is ideal for puppies aged between 16 to 20 weeks who have received at least one vaccination. It's designed to foster early socialisation and educate pet owners on foundational pet care.
Our Puppy Pre-School curriculum covers a range of topics including basic training techniques, socialisation exercises, and fundamental veterinary care. With classes conducted by experienced professionals, we aim to equip both you and your puppy with the knowledge and skills for a harmonious relationship.
Puppy Pre-School classes commence promptly at 7:30 PM every Wednesday at Drovers Vet Hospital. Each session lasts for one hour and spans four consecutive weeks. The registration fee covers all four classes and ensures personalised attention for optimal learning. (For cost please contact reception for latest pricing)
Throughout the program, you'll learn about realistic training expectations, effective techniques for positive reinforcement, and essential topics like nutrition, dental care, and basic first aid. We also emphasise socialisation with other puppies to build confidence and good behaviour.
Feedback and interactive sessions are integral to our approach, allowing you to address specific concerns and receive guidance tailored to your puppy's development. Please note, classes accommodate a maximum of two family members per session, and we kindly request no additional pets attend.
Our goal is to provide a supportive environment where both you and your puppy can thrive. For any inquiries or to register for Puppy Pre-School, please contact us at 9306 3911.
