Ultrasound examinations are beneficial for diagnosing a wide range of conditions in pets, from gastrointestinal issues to cardiac abnormalities. Our skilled veterinarians can perform comprehensive ultrasound assessments, including guided aspirates and biopsies, enhancing diagnostic precision without the need for invasive surgeries.
Precision in diagnosis
Our high-end ultrasound technology offers superior image quality compared to standard machines. This capability allows us to detect subtle abnormalities, such as wood splinters in the intestines or small heart defects, which might otherwise go unnoticed.
What to expect during the procedure
Ultrasound examinations typically requires 45 to 60 minutes to complete. Patients are generally admitted in the morning and discharged in the afternoon. If you prefer to accompany your pet during the procedure, please notify our receptionist when scheduling your appointment, and we will make suitable arrangements.
Some patients may require sedation for a calm examination experience. Additionally, clipping of fur may be necessary to optimise the visualisation of internal structures.
