15 MONTHS | Annual C5 vaccination and Proheart |
- From six months (24 weeks) your puppy should be wormed every three months for life with an all wormer tablet such as Drontal
- The C3 vaccination immunises against Distemper, Parvovirus and Hepatitis
- The C5 vaccination immunises against the same as the C3 as well as the viral and bacterial components of Kennel Cough.
- As long as the vaccination schedule has been followed, once the C5 vaccination has been given at 15 months of age your dog will only need the C3 vaccination tri-annually but will still require a Kennel Cough booster yearly.
- The Proheart Injection prevents heartworm and again if the schedule has been followed your dog will only require a yearly booster, it’s a good idea to have the kennel cough vaccination and Proheart Injections done at the same time.
- We also recommend a month spot treatment for flea prevention such as Advantage of Frontline. There are some month spot on treatments which cover gastro-intestinal worms and heartworm which are also given month; please speak to our nurse for details.
