Dr Wayne talks to the vet students at Murdoch
Dr Wayne was asked to give a talk to the Murdoch University students last Friday evening on the “Challenges and Strategies involved with running a veterinary practice”.
Using his experience throughout the years and more recently his experience in our group with VetCare Innovation, he imparted a wealth of knowledge onto the students. One of the recurring points was one of “Practice Philosophy and Core Values”. We have always placed a huge emphasis on this within our business through our standards of care and our core values of Enthusiasm, Excellence, Compassion and Integrity. It was really great to see and participate in some enthusiastic discussion around how principles like this are implemented, lived out and also on how they impact our staff, patients and clients.
We are very proud to have been given an opportunity like this to engage with a group of enthusiastic students and to share our experiences. It also confirms for us that our vision and journey is the correct one as we seek to provide facilities, services and patient care that is of not only a high standard, but also seen to be esteemed by one of Australia’s top universities.
