Dental Focus January to March

We are running a Dental Focus from January to March 2015 where we are offering a free dental check for your pet and then if a dental is required, they can have a general anesthetic and thorough teeth clean for a discounted fee. You will even get a show-bag of goodies to go home with!

We are hoping to bring more awareness to dental care in our pets. Many people do not understand why animals require a full general anaesthetic in order to have their teeth cleaned. We use a similar machine to human dentists to scale and polish your pets’ teeth. There is a constant flow of water and animals may inhale this water, causing potentially severe consequences. Also, animals will not sit still and open their mouths for extended periods of time. Even we get squeamish in a dentist’s chair sometimes! When your pets are under the general anaesthetic, it allows us to clean every aspect of each tooth thoroughly and perform checks on every tooth.
